Description:
From afar, Hopper looks human, save for her usually green skin color, which changes shades depending on her mood or environment. Her mutation is less subtle upon closer observation: she's small, slim, and lanky, with long arms and legs (the latter being proportionately longer). She has big hands and feet, with some webbing. She often moves with a strange, springy gait. She has a small nose, wide grin, and big, red eyes that she sometimes covers with shades or goggles. Her hair is orange with purple streaks and is often slicked back, never growing out or long.

She only wears tank tops and shorts, eschewing shoes, armor, or jewelry of any kind. Her clothes tend to be moist in order to keep her hydrated, and she'll even carry a backpack full of water to keep her well-supplied; she refuses to wear a special suit. She speaks Spanish and some English.

Personality:
Rana is polite and well-mannered but she keeps clear of most of her peers, feeling comfortably mostly around those she views as similar (i.e. mutated0. She's a child of nature and never seems content to be indoors or around anything modern, spending most of her time either outside or in the greenroom. She maintains a strong ambivalence about her powers and her mixed feelings remain something of an open secret she nonetheless keeps to herself. Despite being self-conscious, she does her best to embrace her powers and prove herself on any mission.

Powers/Abilities:
Hopper's powers focus strongly on speed, agility, and coordination, with the closest comparison being that of a super-human gymnast. In addition, she relies on supped-up perks granted by her frog-based mutation.

Mutation-
The frog-like characteristics of her anatomy have given her super-human reflexes, dexterity, and stamina. Her reaction time is well-above average and, combined with her speed, makes her almost impossible to catch up to without considerable speed and persistence.

Super Leap-
Hopper is capable of making powerful jumps from any stationary position on her feet. With enough stamina she can easily shoot a good hundred feet into the air. She can apply this to different directions, jumping backwards and side to side so as not to be too predictable. On top of that, she backs a mean kick or tackle on the way down.

Frog Skin-
Her slimy skin make's blows difficult to land and grapples equally frustrating. When frightened, in combat, or willed, her skin secretes toxic slime that can burn and damage anyone (friend or foe) on contact. With enough concentration it can even become lethal, though she'll never risk going that far.

Adhesive Hands and Feet-
Hopper can stick to almost any normal surface by all her hands and feet, giving her an added edge in stealth and attack angles. She can also apply this in combat, allowing her to stick to her opponents or snatch their weapons away.

Regeneration-
As far as regenerative abilities hers is far from spectacular, but she still recovers from blows and heals all but the deepest wounds rather quickly. This ability accelerates when she's in greater humidity.

Weaknesses:
Hopper inherits numerous liabilities from her mutation. She's very susceptible to fire, extremes in temperature, and electricity. She must be kept at least nominally humid at all times. If she were to start drying out she could become weaker and even die after a prolonged period of time.

Inventory/Weapons:
Nothing besides a standard UHE communicator
An M5 Hero Academy student, based - obviously - off a frog (specifically a mix between a Red-Eyed Tree Frog and Poison Dart Frog).

I decided to experiment with just cranking out basic stats, sans history and origins, so that I can move quicker in developing our roster of characters. If anything, most of these characters will be bit players or allies rather than centric to the story.

Furthermore, I prefer detailing some characters' backgrounds through the course of the comic rather than in an archival form. I'll see how I feel about it.
